Meriam tempo dulu masih terletak di tempat asalnya. Meriam ini dahulunya bertempat di pinggir pantai, yakni di dermaga pelabuhan Bagansiapiapi, namun sekarang telah di daratan karena lumpur sudah menjadi darat, sehingga meriam tersebut sudah terletak di tengah kota Bagansiapiapi, persisnya di halaman kantor bea dan cukai Bagansiapiapi.
